When you go to Goldenrod City and walk around the underground tunnel, what is in that locked door?

You should worry about this later on. It has to do with Team Rocket and the radio tower director. Only when Team Rocket fully occupies Goldenrod can you get the key to the door.
That door is part of Team Rocket's hideout. After getting the Mohagany badge, beat the Rockets in the radio tower. A rocket will give you a key that opens that door.
Sorry, I didn't get you first time around. Defeat the Mahogany Gym Leader, Pryce, and go to the Radio Tower in Goldenrod and defeat the Manager imposter. He will give you the key to open the door.
I think there's a glitch in the game. I have already beaten Pryce, got the call from Elm, and beaten the imposter in the radio tower, but when I beat the imposter, my bag was full so I was never given the underground/basement key card. I have checked my pack to make sure it wasn't there. I can't unlock the hideout in the underground tunnel. Does anyone know anyway to get the key?
Once you beat Pryce, the 7th gym leader, Prof Elm will ask you to go to Goldenrod to beat Team Rocket. You will get a Basement Key after you beat a Rocket Executive. You are welcome.
