I cannot seem to lineup to challange the gym leader in Mahogany Town due to the ice. Is there a trick or item that I need to accomplish this?

No. You need to find a path that will allow you to reach Pryce, the Gym Leader. There is no item, move, or trick that is needed to accomplish this feat.

No there is no trick to getting to him just try different paths.

First you must go to the far left of the gym and then go up till the far top left cornner of the gym then go to your right until you hit the plain area before you hit the last ice area before the two bricks. Then go all the way down till the right ( verticly )piller when you first walk into the gym then go over left over two ice patches till your lined up with the left pillar ( verticly ). Then go up till you are two ice blocks away from the back wall ( you will be on a clean surface ) then go too your left and you will be on a flat surface and right below the gym leader and there you go. May I assist in your attemps in defeating the gym leader he has one water Pokemon on water and ice Pokemon and one ice and ground. I hope this explination is clear if not just post something on the fourms and I will watch those and make my explenation more clear.

Press right then up until you get 2 the blue dude press left then press up until you get 2 the other blue dude press right then down then left then up then right

No there isn't a trick or item to do it. It would be easier if you battled everybody first. Then just keep on trying to find different ways to get to him. I won't tell you how though. It would be to easy.

It's just a path. It's hard to explain though. Go left, then up, then right, then up, then left, then down, then left or right (I don't have my GBA in front of my), then up, then you should either be confused from these directions, or be at the guy. Ignore this if it's too hard to get.

What do you do when you do a maze? You trace it backwards! You should do the same thing to reach him.
