Can someone please help me? I've only just started playing Pokemon and am playing Pokemon Silver. I have got to Ecruteak City and fought the first person in the gym but now when I try to walk forwards I just get bounced back out and can't progress.

I think you have to chase the Legendary Dogs out of the Burned Tower first.

Wait, now I understand! The path is invisible. You have to go up from the trainer you face to a tile parallel to the next. In other words, you have to walk towards every trainer and battle.

There is nothing wrong with it you have to go side to side like this.

When you first walk up take the second to last square on the right then follow thier eyes like when you walk in front of the lady folow the path till the end then walk infront of the next and so on, good luck my friend
