Ok, I'm new at all this so forgive me. This is a few questions rolled into one, only becuase i'm not sure how it works.
 
 A) In one of the gyms, I'm unable to go past the first guy because I get dropped back at the begining of the path. How do I get past this?
 B) Whenever I try to use surf, it says I need to have one more Gym Badge before I can use it. I'm at a measly three badges and can't figure out how to get more. (I'm inept, ok?)
 C) Is the only way to get to the Red Gyrados by using surf?
 D) Finally, the medicine I need is in Cinwood (spelling?) or is it somewhere else?
 
 I've asked enough questions for now.... Help!

A) The path is right before your eyes. Once you have defeated the first guy walk to the right and sopt above the statue. Go up and fight the Medium there. Then turn left and stop above the left statue (you might not see it but don't step down). Then walk up and figth the sage then walk right and stop above the right statue then walk up fight the medium there and then walk left again stop in front of the gym leader and walk up. Then figth him and get the badge.
B) To surf beat the Ecruteak city Gym leader and win the badge.
C) Yes, you have to approach it and capture it.
D) Yes, it is in Cianwood city in the healers house ask him for it.

A. There is an invisible path which you need to find and follow in order ot get to the gym leader
B. Go to towns and see where you need to get a gym badge and fight for it. I think the one you need is in Ecruteck city (spelling?)
C. Sorry but the other way is to trade form someone else. You have to surf to get him
D. If your talkin about the medicine for ampharos then it is in cinawood. You need to talk to a man in the house at the bottom of the town and he will give you the medicine.
