Is there anyother way of getting the 4 stones besides going to bills granddad ?

Nope, in this version you can only get the stones from Bill's Grandpa or Mystery Gift.

Ok, well if you have a friend who has pokemon gold, silver, crystal, yellow blue or red and a gameboy link capable then you can get a stone off your friend by your friend giving his/her pokemon a stone then trading it to you.

When you get the pokemon take the stone off him and if you want you can trade it back.

If you dont have a friend who has 1 of those games the you can only get the stones from bill's grandfather.

P.S. In pokemon yellow you can actually buy stones from the poke'mart in celedon city!

They have unlimited stock!

The only stone you can more than one of is the moon stone, go to Mt. Moon on monday nights with a pokemon that knows rock smash.

go to the centre part of Mt.Moon and you will see clefairys and they will plant a rock on the ground, so you smash it and then press the "A" button where the rock was and you get a moon stone.

But for the other stones, you will have to duplicate.
