How do you trade from gold to yellow special Pikachu edition - in full detail

The <i>console</i> doesn't matter you just have to use the Game Boy Color link cable and ensure that the Pokémon being traded appears in Yellow and has moves that appears in that version.

New Pokémon and Pokémon with more recent moves (e.g., all Dark-type moves except Bite, all Steel-type moves, Mud-Slap, Rollout, Nightmare, Snore) cannot be traded.

You have to have TWO GAMEBOYS - not game boy advanced, and you need A GAMEBOY CABLE, not a gameboy adavanced one

You just trade in the normal way, except no pokemon from the new series is allowed on yellow, including new moves.

e.g.... feriligater cant trade to yellow, and also you have to use the time capsule to the right of the normal trade centres.

As far as I know the gameboy that is used doesn't matter at all with trading.
