Rechargeable battery pack

I have a Gameboy Advance SP. Everytime I turn on my Gold, Sapphire, n other versions, it says the 'internal battery has run dry. Clocked based events will no longer occur.' does it have something to do with the games or my GBA SP rechargeable?

No the battery is inside of the game if you have the right tools you can repair it but they are very hard to find. Also your save function may stop working.

It means the game has run out of battery. The first signs that it is running low is that you can only select the options 'new Game' and 'Options' at the title menu, as the saving system will not be functioning properly and saving your game in-game will appear to work, but doesn't when you switch the power off and back on again.

The loss of the saving functions has occured with my versions of Gold and Silver (but thankfully not Crystal and Yellow yet), so I know what's going on. I'm confused as to why it's happening with your version of Sapphire, as this issue shouldn't occur with GBA games.

It is possible to fix this. However, the only way I know of is to take it to the nearest video games store and ask them to fix it. This used to be the case, but I'm not sure if they do it anymore. There's no harm in asking, though.
