I've tried asking this question many times but I can't get the right answer.
 
 WHERE do I find a Pikachu/Pichu/Raichu, any of those for Bill's Grandfather (I want the Tunderstone so badly).
 
 WHAT is the itemfinder used for? I've found alot of stuff on the grounds but I can't pick them up do I dig or what?

ANSWERS

1) It's a Pichu that you need for the thunder stone. Mate Pikachu and ditto and hatch the egg to get a Pichu.

2) It's used to find items. Press A when the item finder responds and you will pick the item up.

You can find a Pikachu in the grass under Pewter City.The itemfinder is used to find hidden items. When you find an item, click "A" all around that area until it says you found an item. For example, you can find some hidden items in the places where the weekly siblings are.

Make to pikachus (one male one female) and put them in daycare. You will get an egg from the man.

You can find Pikachu in route 2. Pichu you have to get a ditto or a noter Pikachu and let them mate but they have to be different gender. You can only get Raichu by evolving your Pikachu. Oh and your item finder is only for that to look for stuff when you use the itemfinder and it beets that means thea there is an item close by use A button in that place to get the stuff.
