If you mate a regular colour pokemon with a different coloured pokemon will it be the regular colour or will it be different

It can be either, but the chances of it being miscoloured ('shiny') are very unlikely.

The chances of that happening are slim to none.

I've tried multiple times and I didn't get a shiny offspring one.
