There are specific people who genuinely need to be both acknowledged and heartily and sincerely thanked and who should be thanked in a more profound manner than is possible using only the written word...

Rich -- who I frequently thank and not simply because he is both my editor and the bloke who assigns the games to be written up, but largely because he demonstrates on a daily basis his absolute faith and confidence in his writers. When we end up taking longer on a Guide than he would like, he accepts and understands when the reasons for the delay has to do with Content and quality, and is always happy when we deliver, which makes us happy! He is an incredible patient bloke and a good mate.
