Head to Rye & Sons Aviation and help Nick clear out the area of peggies. After taking them out, talk to Nick to get the mission started. He’ll tell you that the cultists have taken his plane and brought it to the nearby outpost of Seed Ranch. You have to liberate this outpost in order to recover Nick’s plane.

After liberating the outpost, head to the hangar to find the plane there. Before entering the plane, open the hangar door first by interacting with the control panel by the doorway. Enter the plane and carefully take off.

Once you’re airborne, fly through the smoke rings and follow Nick’s instructions to test out the plane (and act as a tutorial if you haven’t flown a plane yet). After testing the controls, Nick will mark targets that you have to destroy. The plane has two weapons, the machine gun (replenishes after a while) and unguided bombs (limited ammo). The targets he’ll mark are best destroyed using the MG especially if you follow the markers and identify the targets in advance.

After eliminating the targets, you have to land the plane next. Follow the smoke rings to get a clear view of the runway then slowly descend while gently lowering your speed. After landing, you’ll have to carefully drive the plane towards the mission marker and deliver Nick’s plane to him.

After the scene, you’ll have to defend the peggie Assault in Nick’s home. Nick will fly the plane and provide air support and you’ll have to deal with the cultists on the ground. First, head to the house and take out the cultists inside. Next, get rid of the ones surrounding the house.

Once the home is secured, head to the hangar next and deal with the lunatics there. There are snipers on the rooftop of the building across the airfield so take them out or order Nick to do it for you. Continue killing the attackers until they stop sending reinforcements. Mission complete and you’ll be able to call in Nick as a specialist.
