You’ll encounter the Empire’s tanks of different sizes as you fight through several Missions against them. These tanks are more dangerous than the normal infantry you’ll encounter and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Their attacks are quite powerful and they’re harder to take down. Should you encounter them along with normal infantry, prioritize taking them out first before dealing with the tank so you can concentrate your actions against it.
The strategy against them varies, depending on the tank type. Generally, tanks have different parts and destroying these parts will temporarily disable the tank, allowing you to land free hits.
Light tanks are bipedal vehicles and their weak points are their legs. Aside from their mounted guns, they can jump over medium distances and perform damaging charge attacks.
Medium tanks are also bipedal but more armored and dangerous than its predecessor. Attacking its legs are also effective in disabling it but be careful not to approach it head-on as its powerful mounted guns will easily tear through your guard.
Heavy tanks is an enormous jump from its predecessor. They’re quad-legged with heavy cannons on its arms and legs, it’s capable of dishing wide-area attacks and great damage. The first boss of the game is a dragon-type heavy tank which designed differently but still a huge threat nonetheless. The best way to deal with it also is destroying its legs then attacking its exposed ragnite core in its underbelly. Make sure to heal up as needed and get out of its projected attack area to avoid suffering too much damage.
