Priorities

These are actions or tactics that characters will employ when you’re not controlling them. Selecting the correct priorities for the correct class can determine the character’s survival and efficiency. You don’t want your squishy characters like scouts and sappers to aggressively push the front line or your shield units to stay far back. Priorities also determine what attacks your characters will perform most often.

You can unlock more priorities by completing battles but most of them can be unlocked by viewing “circle” scenes. These are casual gatherings and conversations by team members with similar interests. The order these circle scenes occur doesn’t seem to follow a fixed pattern but they do appear often after clearing a battle, regardless if it’s story or a free mission.
