Starting out the game in Spiritfarer will provide you with the basics such as your Guest House and Kitchen. Once you’re able to get the Blueprint Station from Albert’s Shipyard, you’ll be able to create different facilities on your boat that you can use.
Upgrading your Ship will enable you to make more out of the space that you have. Not only that, but you’ll be able to use your Blueprint Station more and even create improvements, this will help you out since it can provide your passengers with a better mood. In this page, we’ll check out the different blueprints and improvements that you can place on your ship.
In order to create more facilities using your blueprint station, you’ll want to upgrade it first. Not only should you improve your current blueprint station, but you’ll need space on your boat in order to house all of the facilities that you have. In order to get a better blueprint station, you’ll have to complete the tasks that are provided to you by Atul. Eventually you’ll be asked to go to Albert’s Shipyard.
Here, you’ll be getting two upgrades:
Bring 2 Maple Logs, 1 Limestone, and 1,600 Glims. These will provide you with more options for construction, and you’ll be able to upgrade your ship in order to have better facilities. From there, you can choose different buildings to create and they can provide you with different functions.
There are different facilities that you can build on your boat that provide you with different uses. For example, you can create a Cow Stall for raising Cows, create fabric using a Loom, and more. These facilities will let you get items that you’ll need for building other things, or you can gather them as materials.
Some buildings here provide functions such as Cooking using the Kitchen, or perhaps you can process wood at the Sawmill. The list provided below shows the facilities that you can have in alphabetical order.

Aside from facilities that you use, there are buildings that you can create for the spirits that are onboard your ship. When starting out, you’ll have a Guest House that you can let your Spirits use to rest. Eventually, you’ll have to create specific buildings for each of your Spirits in order for them to be happy.

Once your ship becomes bigger, you’ll want to be able to go around your buildings quick. Once you learn a specific ability, you can build a new building that makes use of it such as gliding through the air through an air draft. The list of ability related buildings are on the table below.
Name | Materials |
---|---|
Air Draft (Learn Glide Ability then check mail) | |
Bouncy (Learn Bounce Ability then check mail) | |
Zipline (Learn Zipline Ability then check mail) |
Creating the facility or building for your Spirits doesn’t mean that it ends there. With an upgraded Blueprint Station and Ship, you’re able to provide improvements for these buildings. They can in turn provide you with better functions, and they can also make your Spirit’s moods much better. This is useful especially if you’re aiming to complete everything.
