In Spiritfarer, you get to control Stella who has received her new duty from Charon in order to assist spirits with their final requests and wishes. In doing so, you’ll be fulfilling the last remaining days of the lives of these spirits before they can move on to the afterlife. You can help out up to 11 Spirits in the game, and Gustav is one of these spirits.

How to get this Spirit

Once you’re in Furogawa, you’ll find a spirit that who wants a missing Woodblock Print. He thinks it’s being sold in the Raccoon Inc. Shop but they do not want to let go of it and asks for your help. You’ll find out that it’s sold to someone called the Collector.

Talk to Gustav and you’ll be given an item to deliver. Go to the collector [-150, 150] and make sure you have the boat improvement called Ice Breaker. Go up the stairs and watch the cutscene with the collector. Once you get the item that Gustav wants, return it to him so he can join you. Once he reveals his true form, you’ll gain access to the Fireflies Spirit Event.


Gustav’s Mood Perks

When starting out, he plays sad music and this can affect other spirits. Improving his mood will provide perks where he can give better items, play happier music, and eventually he can create sushi for you.


Gustav’s Requests

Fulfilling the requests of Gustav and completing them will enable you to say your goodbye so he can go through the Everdoor. Here is the list of his requests, as well as the actions that you need to perform in order to complete them.

  • Go to Ambertown Park and bring Surf 'n Turf to the woodworker, you can also make him settle for Grilled Fish.
  • The Woodworker will give an absurd price, head back to Oxbury and look for his partner. We can then return and get the blueprint for free.
  • Build the Desk
  • The Master Forger
  • Built a Smithy then talk to Gustav.
  • Use the Smithy.
  • Fully Loaded

  • Take Gustav to the Everdoor.
