As soon as you reach the new area, May/Brendan will heal up your party. He/She will leave shortly after. Continue to the west and defeat the trainers along the way. One of the challengers is a ninja boy hiding under a pile of ash near the stairs.

Head north and find the hidden Ether under the pile of ash near the trainer tip board. From there, jump off the ledge to the east and find the buried Super Repel under the ash pile near the trainer. You can also battle the trainer nearby. Once done, jump off the ledge and backtrack to continue west.

Fairy Tale Girl Franny (Reward: p352)

• LV22 Kirlia (Psychic/Fairy)

There's a Secret Base spot in the wall to the north. You can also battle another trainer while you're at it. Go upstairs then go to the right to pick up TM32 Double Team.

Parasol Lady Madeline (Reward: p704)

• LV22 Numel (Fire/Ground)

Continue to the left to be challenged again by another trainer. You'll find the Glass Workshop to the west. Find the buried Max Ether under the pile ash near its signboard.

Youngster Dillion (Reward: p336)

• LV21 Aron (Steel/Rock)

Enter the workshop and talk to the old man. You'll receive a Soot Sack that will allow you to collect ashes from the ash piles outside. Entering and leaving the workshop or any place with a screen transition will reset the ash piles. The amount of ash you collect per pile isn't really displayed or indicated so you have to make several runs in order to create the more expensive items. After collecting enough ash, you can bring them back to him to make any of the items listed below.

Continue to the west and the last trainer hiding under the ash pile will ambush you. There's also a buried Hyper Potion under the ash pile north of the ninja boy. Once done, continue west to reach Fallarbor Town.
