You won't be able to go to the Cycling Road without a bike so you'll have to take the normal, longer path instead. Head to the left and you'll find a group of Team Aqua members talking about heading to Mauville. Along the way, you'll encounter the first trainer that will challenge you to battle.
Poke Fan Isabel (Prize Money: P960)
After defeating the Poke Fan, you'll find a house called The Trick House a few steps to the north. The Trick House itself has some trainers inside and a few items. When it was introduced in Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald, the Trick House's puzzles require players to obtain certain badges first. For Pokemon OR/AS, badges are no longer required though it might be the same since some puzzles require particular HM Moves (that your Pokemon can only use outside battle once you attained its matching badge) For more information about this location, refer to this link.
Though your objective is to head east, I suggest making a quick detour to the eastern part of Route 103 by going left from the Trick House.
Route 110 (Continuation)
Whether you explored Route 103 or not, from the Trick House, continue walking to the east until the path turns north. You should find a Dire Hit in the corner to the southeast, near the trainer tip board. There's also a hidden Full Heal in the empty patch of ground north of that trainer tip board. Check the northwest corner of that empty patch.
Youngster Timmy (Prize Money: P224)
Continue north and you'll meet May/ Brendan again. He/She'll challenge you to a battle. (Her Pokemon team composition will change accordingly to your selected starter)
Pokemon Trainer May (Prize Money: P224)
After the battle, your Pokemon will be fully healed and you'll also receive a Dowsing Machine from May/Brendan. You can register this Key Item so you can easily access it through the item selection dial. Take note that you can't sneak on hidden Pokemon while you have this equipped.
Head north and your Dowsing Machine will react to a hidden item. Search the empty patch of ground south of the next trainer tip board to find a Great Ball. Continue to the west and defeat the next trainer. There's another hidden item there; check the single empty ground northeast of Collector Edwin's position to get a Revive.
Collector Edwin (Prize Money: P420)
Continue west then head north. Another trainer will challenge you along the way. There's another hidden item here. Examine the empty ground a bit to the north, in the middle of the road. You'll get a hidden Poke Ball there.
Psychic Edward (Prize Money: P544)
Continue to the north and you'll finally reach the end of the route. You can talk to the fisherman to challenge him to a battle. Don't forget to harvest the Leppa Berries on the patch of soft soil to the north. After that, you're good to head to the next city.
Fisherman Dale (Prize Money: P512)
