Mt. Chimney

From Mauville, you can now head north again and make your way back to the cable car building that will take you to Mt. Chimney. The Team Aqua members blocking the entrance should be gone by now. Before entering the building, follow the narrow path to the right to find a Guard Spec. Enter the building and ride the cable car up the mountain.

Up in the peak of Mt. Chimney, you won't be able to go south because of the Team Aqua and Team Magma grunts on a standoff. Go upstairs until you find more of the two opposing groups' forces. Head to the left and you'll find Maxie surrounded by Team Aqua Grunts. Ignore them then continue to the left and up. Here, you'll get challenged by one of the Team Aqua Grunts.

Team Aqua Grunt (Reward: p880)

• LV22 Poochyena (Dark)
• LV22 Grimer (Poison)

Continue further ahead and you'll find Team Admin Shelley. You'll have to fight her afterward.

Team Aqua Admin Shelley ( Reward: p2,400)

• LV24 Grimer (Poison)
• LV24 Carvanha (Water/Dark)

Continue to the right to find Archie. After the scene, you'll have to face him in battle.

Team Aqua Leader Archie ( Reward: p4,320)

• LV25 Mightyena (Dark)
• LV25 Golbat (Poison/Flying)
• LV25 Sharpedo (Water/Dark)

After defeating Archie, you'll get back the Meteorite from him. Backtrack a bit but before heading back south, find the narrow stairs to the left and follow it north, then east, then south to find TM59 Incinerate at the end of the path. Backtrack now and head south.

Before going downstairs, go around the crater to the east and find the hidden Protein in the northeast. You can now head south through the Jagged Pass. You can also leave the area then come back to find an old lady near the cable car building selling some Lava Cookies.
