You may want to consider bringing along a motorcycle (or heck, even a golf cart considering the last mission) on this to make the Gold requirement very easy on yourself.

Head to the orange marker by the Jewelry Store Heist and you'll see Kerry out walking her dog Dexie (which is a weird name for a dog). When you get close Dexie will run off.

Give chase! Stay close to it for the medal requirement and eventually it will stop and give up near a fire house. This gives Trevor time to take the dog's leash, ending the mission and prompting a very terrifying sex joke by Nigel.. Ugh...
