STRANGER AND FREAKS #42 Chasing The Truth

Note: Unlike other Epsilon missions, you can re-play this Strangers and Freaks mission through the game's main menu re-play option. This is likely due to the fact that it actually has a medal requirement.

Head to the next icon to see a scene where you'll be introduced to actor Jimmy Boston. Marnie and Jimmy will give you the "technology of the future" and it is now our job to find alien artifacts with it. Note that if you want to get the gold medal requirement, you cannot use the detector! We will use it below and provide directions.

Once you gain control you'll be told that the device will turn blue when it picks up a signal. Use it like a firearm and search to the west (stand in place and aim to the west until the device turns blue). Once you've picked up the artifact "scent", start to head towards it. Head down the path and you will come to the back of a house. The TV here is the object you are looking for, so head to it for a scene.

After that we'll have to find something else. Go figure (*waves hand... these aren't the TV's you're looking for...). Point your meter to the north now and you'll see it pick up another signal. It is quite a ways away but keep heading north and soon you will find a small battery laying in the grass. Turns out that the battery isn't it either (quit being an antithesis!).

Our next signal is going to be found to the southeast (aim towards the dried up creek bed). You want to get on the upper ground on the left side of the creek bed as you go forward. Keep following the creek and you will eventually find a boot in the middle of a walking path further down. Michael is positive that this is it and a scene will occur that ends this mission.

However we're not done yet. In order to continue with our, well... training (indoctrination), we will have to donate $10,000 to Epsilon. Yikes! This keeps getting more and more spendy! Trust us though, it will pay out in the long run, so for now go ahead and donate the money. Once again, it may take awhile for the next Epsilon icon to come up, so go home and sleep a couple of times to help it along!
