Skill Points
You will not have failed to notice that, as you drive through the world that is Forza Horizon 2, you are constantly picking up Skill for actions like drifting, speeding, close calls, rubbing close enough to exchange paint, and many other actions that are thought of in the game literally as stylish driving. Those are Skill Points.
The Skill Points you earn can be increased by adding multipliers - basically that happens when you chain actions together that result in the award of Points without allowing the idle timer to expire (which will then apply any stored points to your total) or hitting something in a bad way (which causes the Skill Point buffer to zero-out, costing you any points that it contained).
The reason that Skill Points are important is two-fold - first they contribute to the leveling process and leveling is good. When you level up you get a chance to spin the wheel and win money or a car. When you level up you also add to the reputation you have as a racer.
Second - and for our purposes more important - as you gain Skill Points and Levels you ALSO gain the second meaning of Skill Points - which is (sorry we know this is confusing) Skill Points for the Skill Point Bank. This other sort of SP is the sort you can spend - and when we say spend, we mean use to unlock Perks.
Perks
The item known as Perks in the game is really a special collection of skills or abilities as well as score and position enhancing effects which are, collectively, called Perks. Perks are good. We want Perks. We want ALL of the Perks. And eventually we will get them!
The menu for Perks is found off of the Main Game Menu, under the PROGRESS Tab, in the PERKS Section. That is where you need to go to pick the Perk you want to spend any available Skill Points on.
The following Perks are available in the game - as long as you have a sufficient number of Skill Points banked that you can use to unlock and claim them that is:

| 5/25 | Daily Double | 2 Points | You earn double the reward from your daily Drivatar payouts. |
| 6/25 | Discount Parts | 3 Points | Permanent 10% discount on all Upgrade Parts. |
| 7/25 | Drift Star | 1 Points | Your Drift and E-Drift Skill scores are increased by 10%. |
| 8/25 | Fast Travel Anywhere | 5 Points | Enables Fast Travel Anywhere. |
| 9/25 | Ghost King | 2 Points | Your ghost state lasts 2s longer when you become King. |
| 10/25 | Hang On | 3 Points | Your Skill Chain ends 1s later than normal. |
| 11/25 | Hot Lapper | 2 Points | You earn 10% more credits in Rivals events. |
| 12/25 | Immune System | 2 Points | You start games of Infected in a ghosted state for 15s, unless you start as the first infected player |
| 13/25 | It's a Lottery | 5 Points | Win better prizes more often with Horizon Wheelspin. |
| 14/25 | It's Not Easy Being Clean | 1 Points | Your Clean Streak and Clean Start scores are increased by 25%. |
| 15/25 | Life in the Fast Lane | 3 Points | Permanent 10% increase in Event Finish XP. |
| 16/25 | Most Wanted | 3 Points | You earn 25% extra XP from Speed Traps and Zones when you post 150mph or more. |
| 17/25 | Paparazzi | 3 Points | An Icon appears above Cars you need for Horizon Promo. |
| 18/25 | Profit Share | 2 Points | You earn 25% more credits from Tuning and Paint downloads. |
| 19/25 | Risk Taker | 2 Points | Your Near Miss Skill scores are increased by 10%. |
| 20/25 | Show Off | 3 Points | You earn an extra 25% XP from banked Skills in Freeroam. |
| 21/25 | Skill Legend | 5 Points | Your Skill Multiplier can go to 6 |
| 22/25 | Skill Shortcut | 3 Points | Your skill chain builds twice as fast. |
| 23/25 | Slipstream | 1 Points | Your Drafting Skill scores are increased by 10%. |
| 24/25 | Street Racer | 1 Points | You earn 25% more credits when you beat a Drivatar in a Head-to-Head race. |
| 25/25 | XP Everywhere | 1 Point | Earn XP when you bank a Skill Chain. |
In addition to the cool abilities or bonuses that these can give you, there are also some Achievements associated with the Perks System from the actions you do to earn points to the Skill Points themselves. Those are:
- Fast and Clean (10g) Earn the Clean Racing Skill 100 Times.
- License to Skill (10g) Earn 5 Skill Points.
- Stone Cold Skiller (20g) Earn 65 Skill Points.
So as you see in addition to making your racing life more interesting and rewarding, this sub-interest also adds to your reputation both in the game and online!

Ordinarily I would agree with that - but the thing is I don't understand why you think you cannot get XP after you unlock all of the Main Game Perks? You do know that the Perk System and XP are not done just there?
It's dumb when you unlock all the perks and then you cant get xp ITS DUMB
When do you get the perks avalable for purchase ?
