If you chose a different car at the start you will get slightly different races - but the aims are the same. The races that are currently available are:

Cliffside Sprint - Sports Cars Sprint Race (4,839 Cr. / 3,226 XP)

This is a relatively short race but its course is a set of wining an fairly complicate road surfaces running up a few hills, along a cliff or two, an into the countryside.

The idea here is to do well - and preferably come in first. Do that and you unlock the Achievement: First of Many (10G) Win your first Championship race. Yeah, first is best, first is good. Go for first :)

Once you have that finished and you get the summary, Ben explains to you about the points system from the races - same as it was in the previous game in the series mind you - and you are then pointed at the next race in the series.

After the stats and summary screens play through, you are introduced to Anna - the voice-controlled GPS computer in your car. And how cool is that??

High Speed Circuit - Sports Cars Circuit Race (7,500 Cr. / 5,000 XP)

This is a two-lap circuit race on a relatively short and fast track with fluid turns. Mentally it takes some adjustment to go from the all-out hammer-down racing style of the previous event to this close-quarters style of racing - but remember you only have to finish in the Top 3.

Your first Cross Country Race and what an eye-opener!

Festival Cross Country - Sports Cars Cross Country (6,206 Cr. / 4,137 XP)

This is literally cross-country - they don't mean long-distance mind you, they mean off-road as in country you are driving across. Needless to say this is like a greased pig on ice! Prepare for lots of sliding and very little traction!

It is a checkpoint-based race too, so do NOT miss any of them. This was not my favorite style of race but it was fun!

As long as you come in top place in terms of points you will win this Championship - in which case you will ALSO unlock the Achievement: Number One (10G) Win a Championship. Nice one!

Once you wrap up the stats you the next race will be revealed and, as Ben says, it is some thing special... A Showcase Event! On your way you will encounter the Bucket List System - Ben explains how it works - that there are Cars staged all over with instructions in each. Leave that for now - we will address that in its own Section...

Il Tricolore Aereo Showcase Event

Basically what you are going to do is race a jet fighter exhibition team. Yeah, seriously! The thing you have to understand is this - you are NOT going to beat them through every checkpoint. But the good news is, you don't HAVE to. It does not matter who gets through each checkpoint first, this is not a points race - what matters is who gets over the Finish Line first - and that will be YOU.

Your first Forza Showcase Event - versus Jets Fighters!

For this race you are provided with a supercar - the 2003 Ferrari Challenge Stradale to be exact. Nice wheels. Fast wheels. No go beat some jet planes man.

After you finish the race - and win - you learn that you get to keep the car. That's right! You get to keep the Ferrari!
