As previously noted I chose the GT Championship and the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG,

San Giovanni Race 1 of 4: Largo Valley Street Race

San Giovanni Race 1 of 4: Largo Valley Street Race Super GT Street Race (7,162 Cr. / 4,775 XP)

This is a typical street race in that there are lots of checkpoints and plenty of civilians present to complicate your racing. Still keep an eye on the road - like I did not - and keep your turns tight - as I did not - and you will surely win this one!

San Giovanni Race 2 of 4:South Valley Sprint

San Giovanni Race 2 of 4: South Valley Sprint Super GT Trail Race (6,833 Cr. / 4,555 XP)

This is a mixed surface race hat also happens to be split between very tight city streets, very loose urban roads, and a enough dirt and gravel so that your GT racer is literally all over the road... That said, it is one of the fun ones, largely because to maintain that high speed your GT racer is literally all over!

Far as I am concerned, a second place finish is as good as first here.

San Giovanni Race 3 of 4: Old Town Circuit

San Giovanni Race 3 of 4: Old Town Circuit Race Super GT Circuit Race (8,838 Cr. / 5,892 XP)

This is a very tight short circuit with inconveniently placed checkpoints and lots of tight city streets and narrow roads that makes trying to drive a clean race a challenge under the best of conditions - and these are not the best of conditions! For one thing, it is raining...

Still you have three laps in which to work your way through the pack and, eventually, get ahead and stay ahead. Of course that is easier said than done - but the Cars are all pretty evenly matched here, so a modicum of control will go a long way!

San Giovanni Race 4 of 4: West Valley Circuit Race

San Giovanni Race 4 of 4: West Valley Circuit Race Super GT Circuit Race (9,353 Cr. / 6,235 XP)

Another circuit race but this time around the circuit is longer and far loser with wider roads and much better road conditions. It does not hurt that the sun is out either.

Wrapping this up should be wicked easy compared to the previous race, and it nicely wraps up the GT Championship as well, so it's all good!

Wrapping up the Road Trip

Ben reminds you that that was the final event of this Road Trip - and asks you to head back to the hub for the return run to the Horizon Festival and the Awards Party to be held there.

Once you arrive that officially ends this Road Trip - and you are invited to spend the evening at the party - as you recreate and have a good time in preparation for the Road Trip that will begin tomorrow!

Before you head straight into yet another Road Trip, now would be a great time to take a look at some of the electives that are available - activities that are both fun and entertaining and that will break up the Road Trip and Championship racing in a manner that helps keep things fresh and interesting!

So, consider the following:

• Solo Bucket List Set 1 (if you have not already completed it)

• Solo Bucket List Set 2 (again, if you have not already done this)

• Car Meets and their Showdown Races

• Online Road Trips and Races that offer a mix of race and Playground Game Events.

• Skill Point and Perk Grinding - to score some special abilities

• Completing the Road Collection (if not yet completed)

• Completing the Bonus Boards (this should be a priority - particularly the Fast Travel Boards)

• Barn Finds (if there are any still outstanding)

• And finally Driving around picking up Horizon Promo Photos

That is a LOT to do - and even if you have already completed half of the above suggestions, that still leaves a fair number of non-Road Trip non-Solo Championship stuff to do!

Wrapping up San Giovanni - Road Tripping back to the Hub

Another thing you might consider doing is wrapping up some of the odd Achievements that qualify as the sort that you more or less have to actively pursue - those include:

• Car Lover

• Human GPS

• Ont he Road Again

• Photographer

• Smash Happy

• Stone Cold Skiller

• Super Meet Boy

• We Meet Again

• Well Traveled

All of the above are worthy goals to aspire to - but remember this is about having fun. If it stops being fun even for a moment, do something else. That is especially true in the case of the Bucket List challenges - because some of them are downright frustrating, and there is nothing worse than beating your head against a wall over one that you are having an especially difficult time with!
