To continue this quest you follow Vesemir - as you do you will pass through a looted village that you CAN stop at if you like. There are reagents to gather in the brush, and some containers you can loot - but bear in mind that there are bandits in the woods and monsters on the beach. Just saying.

Eventually you will cross a bride and get a CS and encounter with a Werewolf - then decide to head to the nearby Inn.

Just as is the case in real life, arriving at an Inn is cause for happiness and celebration both real and internal. Inside there is tasty beer, food, and perhaps a serving wench! Well, in your case there also might be information about Yen, which is almost as good...

Bear in mind that the first Fast Travel Sign you will encounter is here - use The Sense to detect it and then go use it to see how it works - you do not have to Fast Travel anywhere but now you CAN Fast Travel to here from elsewhere if and when you want to.

You will now see that you passed others - and that you can Fast Travel to the Crossroads or the Looted Village whenever you like. Later when you feel like battling monsters or bandits and gathering loot or reagents that might be an idea.

There are reagents in the brush here, as well as a few modest looting opportunities so why not see what there is to see?

When you arrive in the village you get the standard warning pop-up about not causing trouble - basically do not steal and do not mess with the locals.

In addition to that you get your first details of Notice Boards - which is what you use to get quests and the like in a new area, village, and town.

Something that bears reminding is that just because you are happy to arrive at the Inn does not mean that the regulars will be happy you arrived at the Inn... While it does not happen all that often, there are a few Inns in the lands where Witchers are not entirely welcome!

Arriving at the Inn

When you arrive at the Inn you get a CS and you get a sense of the troubles that are brewing here as loyalties have recently changed.

When you get inside you have a chat with the woman who keeps the Inn - you can shop with her and get some information. Remember to use the White Chat Options BEFORE you use the Gold one.

In addition to the to be expected supplies and food she also has some other stuff for sale - most notably cards for the game Gwent and some Herbals and Spirits.

Obviously you are not rolling in coin at the moment, but it would be an idea to maybe pick up at least some bread for on-the-go healing. Just saying.

As you question the other customers about the woman in black and white you get a chance to influence a conversation with a Sign, and play Gwent (if you want to).
