Thermite just destroys every good plan defending teams have employed. He is the only operators which can breach reinforced walls with his uber-useful Brimstone BC-3 Exothermic Charge. He can also carry extra Breach Charges to further confuse and intimidate enemies with all out breaches in all directions.
Thermite’s specialty is extremely vulnerable to Mute and Bandit as they just jam the Brimstone. That is why, for every Thermite, there must be a Thatcher. They go hand and hand because the latter will disable the shocked reinforced walls and neutralizes Mute’s Signal disruptors.
Just like Ash, Thermites breaching abilities require time to detonate. Hence, teamwork is a priority because (1) coordinate multiple breaches (2) protect the Brimstone because it is vulnerable to bullets, and (3) jamming devices stop the Brimstone on its detonation and will waste the charge.
