Mute is one of the most usefuel defenders of the game because he simply neutralizes lots of the attacking operators’ special equipment. Not to mention, he disables all of the drones in the reconnaissance phase.

In order to balance Mute, his Signal Disrupter is only effective in a very limited area. This does not necessarily mean his useless, all you have to do is install these in areas that are tight like hallways, doorways, and windows.

If you are going to install the Signal Disrupter on a doorway, be sure that it is obfuscated by barbed wires, or hidden behind a Deployable Shield. Thatcher, IQ, and Twitch can easily neutralize Mute’s gadget however, proper placement of the Sugnal Disrupter and synergy with Jager and Bandit will pull back the advantage to the defense team.
