BACKGROUND	A student of Hermann-Bose-Gymnasium, Kotz excelled academically and as a sportsman in HBG's bilingual program. His imposing physique made him an exceptional athlete, he carried his experience on the field into his military training. His jovial nature and academic background eased the transition from a Schnelle Krafte soldier in Kosovo to a member of GSG 9. Katz was integral to establishing an anti-terrorism unit in India following the 2008 attack in Mumbai.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE	Kotz has seen his share of battlefield horrors but is mentally resilient. He uses humor to disarm and as a device to manage stress during operations. He is the first to rush a barricade and is always willing to place the team's safety over his own. Katz rejects the concept that his deeds are in some way heroic. When faced with overt praise, he will become self-effacing.

Blitz doubles as the “tank” and as a utility guy. His Flash Shield can blind enemies in front of him. He is sort of a Medusa, anyone looking at him will be blinded. However, the flash shield only has five charges. Players must have to use them wisely. Still, five instances are numerous enough. Since Blitz is a shielded operator, his primary weapon is a shield. He can dual-wield though with his secondary so that he can join the fight too.

Blitz is also somewhat immune with flash grenades because the glass window of his shield has a coating that allows you to see through the flash not unlike Montagne’s Extendable shield. This is somewhat known, because otherwise, you’d be blind to your own FlAsh Shield. Breach charges synergizes well with him. It is far better that there is an Ash or a Sledge in a team to breach through rooms for him. Blitz, unlike what image might conjure in your head, is actually one of the slowest operators out there and has the least fighting power of all the shielded operators.
