Temperance - Sadayo Kawakami

It will be a good idea to max out her Confidant rank as fast as you can. Her abilities are quite invaluable, ranging from making coffee for you or giving you free time that you can use on other activities in different time slots that you’ll be unable to do so otherwise. These “services” have a fee that will be waived once her rank reaches LV8. Finally, her Rank 10 ability will free up your evening slot even after going to the metaverse, which will help immensely in allowing you to perform other social or confidant activities at night.

She’s normally available every Friday and Saturday but you may occasionally get a message from her telling you that she’s available on different evenings if she needs extra cash. Every service you ask her of her will cost 5,000 yen so make sure you have enough extra funds if you’re planning to spend time with her.

Ability List

Rank 1: Slack Off

During Kawakami’s classes, you’ll be given a free time slot to do other activities without leaving the classroom. This includes making tools or reading books.

Rank 3: Housekeeping

You can request Kawakami to make coffee or do the laundry for you during evenings. You can start making coffee after unlocking the Hierophant confidant (Sojiro Sakura)

Rank 5: Free Time

Free time slot during other teacher’s classes.

Rank 7: Super Housekeeping

Request Kawakami to make curry and tools for you, on top of her other housekeeping services. Curry will be unlocked in LeBlanc after ranking up the Hierophant confidant to Rank 3.

Rank 8: Free services

(This is not listed) Moving forward, all services from Kawakami will be free of charge so make sure to take advantage of it, especially making tools, coffee, and curry for you during evenings that you’re not planning on spending with Sojiro.

Rank 10: Special Massage

• Use the phone in LeBlanc during evenings after you entered Palaces and Mementos to get a special massage from Kawakami. This will allow you to recover from your fatigue and free up the evening slot for other activities and time to spend with other confidants.

Rank 1

Participate in “Operation Maidwatch” on any day after May 24th. This will trigger at Lunchtime during the second day after completing Madarame’s palace. After agreeing on the plan, you need to talk to Mishima at night to trigger a cutscene.

After the scene, in the following day, find Ms. Kawakami at school. You’ll see her getting cornered by the Ms. Chouno. Talk to Ms. Kawakami to get her out of Ms. Chouno’s prying eyes to receive the phone number to the maid services and specifically requesting for her. When you have Guts Rank 3, you can dial her from the public phone inside LeBlanc at night to initiate her Confidant.

After reaching Rank 8, Kawakami will call you during lunch time at school. During this scene, you can select any answer since they won't give any affinity boosts at all. You’ll receive a new request “A Teacher Maid to Suffer” afterward. Kawakami's confidant will locked for ranking up until you complete the request.

You can find the target in Mementos, Chemdah, Area 7. Defeat the shadow Takases to complete the request. After completing the request, you can call her during the night at any day to proceed with the rank up scene. From hereon, her services will be free.

If you haven’t maxed her out when Summer Vacation starts, you’ll have to wait until the new school season starts in September. If you focus on her, you can max her out before Summer Vacation begins. Even if her confidant is locked from ranking up during the entire summer vacation, you can still request her services every night to make tools, do the laundry, make coffee, or curry for you.

After maxing out her confidant, you can call her and have her give you a special massage to remove the fatigue from visiting the Mementos or a Palace. On top of that, you can still request her to make tools, coffee, do the laundry, etc even after she gave you a massage. Becky is a hardworking girl after all.

Farewell Gift

(Farewell gifts are unique items given by confidants to the protagonist at the end of the game which can be carried over to New Game+ with added beneficial effects.)

Unlimited Service: Access to Special Massage (Rank 10) ability once her confidant has been established in NG+

Romantic Gifts

You’ll receive these gifts if you pursued a romantic relationship with certain female confidants if you decide to spend time with them during the special “dates” in Christmas and Valentines.
