Like Kawakami, prioritize unlocking her Confidant at least up to the point that you can take advantage of her Affinity Reading (Rank 7). Her readings doesn’t consume time but quite expensive (5000 yen per consultation) The effects of her readings will only take effect on the same day. That said, if you’re aiming to get huge boosts for a specific social stat on the same day, I recommend doing activities that increase the same stat, like doing the burger challenge at day then taking a medicinal bath at night during Thursdays. This method will become obsolete during your second playthrough once you maxed out all of your social stats during your first run.

Always avail her Money Reading before exploring a palace or going to the mementos to significantly boost your money gain by defeating enemies with an all-out attack.

Finally, Affinity Reading makes you closer to the confidant of your choice. This is a very important time saver since you don’t have to spend a time slot with a confidant that’s not going to rank up soon. Always avail this service especially after successfully ranking up a confidant the day before.

To unlock: Overhear the rumor about her during the early morning train ride on June 22. She’s hanging out in Shinjuku at night, on a clear weather. You have to try her fortune-telling first, where she’ll tell you that you’ll earn 5,000 yen when you head home. She’ll also offer you to buy a “power stone” worth 100,000 yen. Your character will decline buying it at first and will head straight home. After arriving at LeBlanc, Sojiro will give you exactly 5,000 yen since he won the lottery. Convinced, you’ll have to talk to the fortune-teller again. (Make sure you have 100,000 yen ready by then)

Talk to her the second time and buy the stone for 100,000 yen. After going home, the stone will crumble as it was just salt. You have to talk to her again next time.

For the third visit, eavesdrop while she’s with a client. You’ll offer to change the client’s BF’s heart and you’ll obtain the request “Ending the Boyfriend’s Abuse”. It will be perfect to do this alongside other Mementos quests you have stored.

Finally, after completing her request talk to her again to unlock her confidant. She will also become available during the day (when it’s not raining) for the normal reading (gain benefits from her abilities) and the night for the test (advancing her confidant rank).
