Raining
After the scenes, you’ll be back in Kamoshida’s Castle. After sneaking inside, you have to follow Morgana back to the Castle’s underground prison.
Here, he’ll teach you about ambushing enemies from behind. This method is used for engaging enemies without increasing the Palace’s security level. If the security level gets too high, you’ll be forced to leave the dungeon. Ambushes also help lowering raised security levels. Sneak behind the guard ahead and press X to ambush it. This pyromaniac is weak against wind so let Morgana finish it off with Garu.
Cross the bridge and continue forth for a scene. You’ll seek refuge in a safe room and receive a Tkachev and medicine from Ryuji. Safe rooms is where you can save and consult your teammates about the infiltration. Save your game and talk to Morgana and Ryuji then leave when you’re ready.
Go downstairs heading east to find another guard roaming around. Defeat it then examine the iron gate to continue deeper in the prison level. Continue downstairs to trigger a cutscene. You’ll be engaging the two shadows around the corner. During this battle, Morgana will teach you about using guns. Press the Up d-pad, select your target with the left or right d-pads, and press X to attack. The beguiling girl shadow is weak against guns so you can empty your clip on it then use a different attack to its ally for the free turn you got from knocking her down.
After defeating the enemies, you’ll get a tutorial about Party Tactics. Read through it and continue along the underground passage. There’s another guard around the second corner so plan your approach accordingly.
Defeat it then pass the stream. There’s another guard by the doorway; however, this time Morgana will teach you how to perform an All-out Attack. This special attack becomes available after knocking down all enemies. This is very crucial especially when facing a large number of enemies or a particularly difficult boss. However, you can’t use this move if the main character cannot act or if only he can act. After the battle, open the door to reach the Training Hall of Love.
Continue heading south to trigger a scene. After the scene, you have to check the nearby cells one by one. You’re done here for now so backtrack and exit through the door. More scenes will follow.
You’ll be thrown in a scripted battle where you’ll automatically lose in the second turn so just stay alive during the first turn. After the scene and having another fighting party member, you’ll be thrown in the real battle afterward. The two dirty-horned beasts are weak against lighting (Zio) but the guard captain in the middle isn’t so use the extra turns to take out the beasts to make the battle easier. Once the other two sidekicks are done, you’re free to focus your attacks on the guard captain until it is defeated.
After defeating the guards, more scenes will take place. Once outside the castle, you’ll be back shortly in the real world. After your adventure in the castle, you’ll unlock your first Confidant, The Chariot. More scenes will follow until the day period switches to evening.
You’ll arrive home automatically. You’ll exchange messages with Ryuji then you’ll be sent up to your room. You have no choice but to sleep so go ahead and examine the bed. During this sequence, you’ll be in the Velvet Room once again. You’ll unlock the Fool Arcana and learn the Skills Wild Talk and Arcana Burst.
