After School

(Visit Madarame’s residence)

After leaving the train, you have to get to the Station Square. You can use fast-travel to get there. Once there, walk towards Central Street to trigger another set of cutscenes. While brainstorming about possible keywords about the palace, select “Museum” to start the Metaverse app and enter the castle.

Guide Image

Madarame’s Castle

You’ll start outside Madarame’s museum. Save your game first the climb on top of the van to scale over the walls. Once inside, just follow the straight path to the gardens to the east, stealing any highlighted containers along the way. Jump across the different ledges until you reach the rooftop. Interact with the skylight to infiltrate the museum.

There are no enemies at the moment so use this time to explore the area. Make your way to the exhibition room where you can find the portrait painting of the guy whose shadow you fought during your first visit in the Mementos.

Guide Image

Continue heading south until you reach Yosuke’s portrait. After the conversation with your teammates, head to the reception area to the west. There are two chests here and a pamphlet that you need to pick up. Loot the Protect Mask from the chest beside the stairs. The other chest is locked so if you have a spare lockpick you can immediately obtain the Training Whip, Pearl, and Snuff Soul from it.

Guide Image

Before moving forth, pick up the pamphlet to get the map of the first half of the palace then head to the next room. After reaching the center statue behind the reception area, you’ll be back in reality and time will pass to evening.

Evening

You can’t do anything but sleep.

5/17 Tuesday

After School

You’ll be coming with Ann as she accepts the modeling offer and get some dirt about Madarame through Yusuke. After the scenes, you’ll be back home. Your hideout will also be moved from the school rooftop to the Shibuya Teikyu Building Accessway.

Guide Image

Evening

You’ll receive a new lead from Mishima and message from your teammates. You have no choice but to sleep.

5/18 Wednesday

After School

You’ll be meeting up with your party members. After the conversation with the contact, you’ll be continuing your meeting in your new hideout. You’ll learn about your new deadline and a new feature in palaces discussing real-life obstacles that will hinder your progress in the palace. It’s supposed to be your free time today but checking out the palace as early as possible will help a lot in ensuring that you get things done before the deadline.

Also, you should be able unlock the Twin Wardens (Strength) confidant today. They will ask you to bring a Jack Frost with Mabufu to unlock their confidant. This can easily be done by fusing Silky and Mandrake, then level up Jack Frost to LV12 to unlock the skill Mabufu. Another alternative will require you to encounter the first type of treasure demon in Madarame’s palace called the Regent. The Regent has several all-party elemental skills, including Mabufu. To get a Jack Frost, combine a Regent and Jack-o-Lantern.

Should you decide to make an infiltration today, your objective is to at least reach the infrared barrier in the Central Garden. If you’ll stretch out your team’s resources, you should be able to save up to 100,000 yen and get up to LV19, giving you access to more Personas which will help a lot in clearing the other parts of the palace. You won’t be able to get past this until you find the obstacle in the real-world. If you happen to reach that checkpoint and you still have SP and supplies to spare, you can go ahead and train there to maximize your time and increase your funds.

Guide Image

There are new equipment available as well but their prices are quite high at the moment so unless you saved a lot of cash, you won’t be able to afford most of them.

If you visited the palace and reached the checkpoint from the previous day, this time slot will be automatically allocated to Morgana and Ann’s plan. You’ll also be back in the palace so you won’t get any chance to save, sell the treasures you collected, resupply, and upgrade your equipment. Due to the course of events inside the palace, a new member will join the party.

Otherwise, this day will be a free time.

Consider crafting tools, especially lockpicks as well before heading to the palace. If your Proficiency is high enough, you should be able to create more tools per session.

Note: You may want to clear Madarame’s palace as early as possible so you can unlock the Temperance confidant. Her triggering events start at May 24. Getting access to her confidant abilities will save you a lot of time or allow you to complete more activities, social or confidant-related in the following months to come simply by ranking up her confidant rank.
