The Real CA Dairy Cow Barn

One of the more recent additions to the game and to the Prized Animal Housing System in the game is the Dairy Cow Barn. Well, actually if we are being exact, it is really called “The Real CA Dairy Cow Barn” and its name and advertising is thanks in part to an arrangement between Zynga (makers of Farmville 2) and the California Dairy Association - and really if you think about it, what an oddly entertaining and effective way to advertise a real world product!

The Dairy Barn construction project will appear for farmers who have reached Level 10 or above, and requires the following resources in order to construct it:

• x10 Wrought Iron Hinges (Feed Post)

• x10 Diary Fence Pipes (Direct Request)

• x10 Roof Shingles (Direct Request)

Once you have all of those materials you will need to ask three of your neighbors to help you in the final building process.

The Diary Barn

The basic features for the barn, which was created to house Prized Cows and thus remove their count from the Farm Animal Cap, are as follows:

• Adds +25 to yoru farm's Feed Capacity.

• Holds up to x12 Prized Cows (any type).

• Cows living in the barn require only x4 Feed per feeding.

Note: If the presence of advertising on your farm buildings in the form of the “Real California Milk” logo bothers you, you will be happy to learn that, once the promotion period ends, the logo will be removed from your barn and will no longer appear over the special Cows that are part of it as well!
