The Rabbit Warren

After the new year, and the confirmation that additional Prized Animal housing would be added over the course of the year for animal types lacking it, it is fair to say that most farmers were eager to see this deployed...

Due in part to size limits and land limits, it was anticipated that the Rabbit Warren would be among the first to be deployed, but as it turned out not the first. Considering the number of Rabbits - and Prized Rabbits - that the average farm has, this is a blessing!

Once your farm has reached Level 11 (or above) you should receive the construction project placement for the Rabbit Warren upon one of your log-ins.

The Rabbit Warren requires the following resources:

• Blue Paint x10 (Feed Post)

• Rabbit Bedding x10 (Direct Request)

• Rabbit Trough x10 (Direct Request)

Once you have obtained all of the required resources, you will need to seek the assistance of three of your neighbors to assist in the construction of the Rabbit Warren, after which you can open its interface and click on the Add button to get all of your Prized Rabbits to enter... If you have been storing them to open up space on your farm for other animals you will want to pull any Prized Rabbits out of storage and place them in your Warren.

Bearing in mind that all Rabbits are not created equal, just like with Chickens and other animals you will want the Rabbits that produce the best results in XP and resources to occupy the available slots in your new Rabbit Warren. Bearing in mind that the new Rabbit Warren can hold up to x12 Rabbits, you will want to take care of which you place there.

As with other Prized Animal structures, once placed in the Warren the Rabbits within will require half as much feed (AFRU) than they would if they were not in the shelter.

Special Resource Production

In addition to obtaining the Rabbit Wool that is obtained from Prized Rabbits, there is also a chance for the Rabbit Warren to produce one or more of the Golden Fleece that you are used to seeing propagate from the Sheep Shack. This is a good thing :)

The only real drawback to the Rabbit Warren is that you can only have one of them. Other than that, it makes a perfect home for your Prized Rabbits!
