Though these vast grasslands that extend over the large portion of the continent are renowned for the bountiful crops they yield, their central location also means that they are a transportation hub. Even detractors who deny their importance cannot dispute that they have an extensive network of roads compared to the other geographical features of the continent.
There is: the Eastern Eihied Trail, which connects the eastern town of Myiddok to the neighboring country of Langdauq, the Dakaav Footpath to the south that leads to the village of Sthal; the Western Dakaav Tunnel, which takes travelers to the western outpost of Sortevue; and finally, a road from the capital that extends to Sohma.
The plains surround the nation's capital, but are in turn encircled by the Eihied and Dakaav Mountains. There is no part of the plains not bordered by one of these incredible mountain ranges.
