Note: You’ll lose the Communicator temporarily after completing the next location and after a long major story progress so make sure that you have done all Private Actions and all possible Quests at this point. You can also buy some of the components available at the ship as much as you can afford.
Your objective is the Cryptic Research Facility a bit to the north, by the alcove with a chest and fishing spot nearby. (Refer to the screenshot below) Collect all items in the area first then approach the spot to trigger a scene. Relia will run inside the facility as soon as Anne opens the door.
After catching up with Relia, continue with the party to the next room then backtrack in the previous room to save your game. Enter the first room to the left to find a chest. The floating orbs like the one in this room are item containers instead of chests. Loot the Micro-Circuits x2 from it.
Continue along the corridor until you reach the room to the west containing two item orbs. Loot the EM Bomb (S) x3 and Diffusion Device from them. Continue to the large hall further west. There are two item containers here and three enemies inside the closed room to the south. The item container near the large machine in the middle contains Restorative Signets Vol.1 while the other container contains Stun Bomb x2.
Continue to the north and clear the small room along the way. Head to the left first and loot the items in the NW corner room. Obtain Swordsman Manual IV and Micro Circuits x3. Continue to the east and pick up the Signet Card: Thunder Flare along the way. Continue heading to the small room to the south at the end of that curved corridor to get a Healing Device.
Continue to the long hallway to the east and clear the room with enemies if you like. The room in the middle has a Reinforced Gunpowder. Continue to the next rectangular room to the NE to find another container in the corner. Loot the Micro Circuit x3 from it.
Clear the way to the south then use the healing point. Loot the Solar Signets, Vol.2 from the chest beside the save point then save your game. Continue to the next room to trigger a cutscene. As Anne starts data mining, two Robo Gunners and a Sentinel will warp in.

With Anne data-mining the console, your party’s damage output will be considerably lowered. Fiore will need to allocate some of her time to heal so you can’t rely on her offensive spells most of the time in battle. Furthermore, you have to keep Anne alive. To make matters worst, all enemies will be targeting her so unless you have defensive roles concentrated on her, she has good defensive gear, or at a considerably high level, expect her to get damaged heavily.
You can use a Reserve Rush here to get rid of the Robo Gunners at least. Otherwise, use offensive Consumables like the various bombs you have acquired along the way. The Machine Slayer role will also help a bit in increasing your damage output. For Fiore, make sure she has Healing Roles equipped to allow her to prioritize healing her allies first.
After the machines have been taken care off, the building’s self-destruction sequence will start. You have 18 minutes to leave the area from where you came from. Before leaving the room, get the Anti-Poison Amulet inside the small room to the south. Make your escape and defeat enemies along the way. There are only a handful of enemies that you really have to defeat along the way so ignore the ones inside the other rooms if you want. Once you’re outside the facility, you’ll be beamed to the Charles D. Goale.
