Visiting Aether Paradise

Walkthrough The Aether Paradise is a man-made island built literally in the center of The Alola Region. This is basically the headquarters for all of the Aether Foundation, where research laboratories are found. There is also a conservation area for Pokemon to be protected from the harm of humans, primarily Team Skull. The facility runs a jamming signal, which prevents Pokemon from being captured from within.

After arriving to Aether Paradise, Faba will pass you along to another Employee, a woman called Wicke. Wicke will give you the grand tour of Aether Paradise. Soon, you will quickly be shown the Conservation Area, the same place where you will meet the President of Aether.

Lusamine is the President of Aether, a beautiful woman of a not-so-old age. She claims that Aether is a place of protection for all Pokemon, or so she claims it to be. As she is sharing her mission with you, an Ultra Beast Wormhole suddenly appears, and out pops an Ultra Beast of enormous power. And, of course, it's up to you to try to tame it. Unfortunately, due to the preventive jamming system, you have no choice but to defeat it in battle. This Ultra Beast is unknown at the time to you and your Pokedex, having the Pokemon Name of ???. It will be at Level 27 and is a Rock/Poison Type Pokemon, with the moves of Clear Smog, Psywave, Headbutt, and Venoshock.

After defeating the Ultra Beast and sending it back to the dimension it came from, Lusamine will reveal that the Pokemon is one of the Ultra Beasts you were told about from Professor Burnet back at the Dimensional Research Lab. She will also explain how the Aether Foundation has been attempting to open said Wormholes, telling of a Pokemon they recently had that had the power of doing this very thing.

After saying all of this, the Ultra Recon Squad will suddenly appear, sharing with you how they are working with Aether Foundation to prevent Necrozma, the Blinding One, from traveling through Ultra Space and stealing the light of The Alola Region. They have knowledge about Ultra Space and Ultra Beasts that could be of use to the Aether Foundation, while the Aether Foundation has the necessary means (or so they claim) of stopping Necrozma from doing that very thing should it come.

Lusamine will then vow to stop Necrozma, to prevent it from harming the Pokemon she loves. She will then instruct Wicke to take you and Hau to Ula'ula Island to continue your Island Challenge.
