Fossil Items

 

As in all Pokemon Games, you can find a number of Fossils throughout The Alola Region that you can revive into Pokemon at the Fossil Center on Akala Island. This time around, you can find virtually every single Fossil during your adventure (outside of the Old Amber). Fossil Pokemon are some of the strongest Pokemon you can find.

Fossil Items & Locations
Armor Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived on the land. It looks to be from some kind of protective collar.
Locations: Konikoni City, Poke Pelago

Claw Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived in the sea. It appears to be a fragment of a claw.
Locations: Konikoni City, Poke Pelago

Cover Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived in the sea. It appears as though it could be part of its back.
Locations: Konikoni City, Poke Pelago

Dome Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived in the sea. It could be a shell or carapace.
Locations: Konikoni City, Poke Pelago

Helix Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived in the sea. It might be a piece of a seashell.
Locations: Konikoni City, Poke Pelago

Jaw Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived on the land. It looks as if it could be a piece of a large jaw.
Locations: Konikoni City, Poke Pelago

Old Amber: A piece of amber that still contains the genetic material of an ancient Pokémon. It’s clear with a tawny, reddish tint.

Plume Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived in the sky. It looks as if it could come from part of its wing.

Root Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived in the sea. It looks as if it could be part of a plant’s root.

Sail Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived on the land. It looks like the impression from a skin sail.

Skull Fossil: A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived on the land. It appears as though it’s part of a head.
