It will be of Lusamine and Wicke having a conference in order to explain the recent events of Necrozma to the Alola Citizens. As the conference is about to conclude, an Ultra Wormhole opens and Team Rainbow Rocket appears. They then capture Lusamine and takeover Aether Paradise.

Lillie will come running into your house and asks if you saw the report, saying she is heading to Aether Paradise to check on her mother. By following her there, you will arrive to see that Lusamine's private building in the back of Aether Paradise has turned into a castle controlled by Team Rainbow Rocket. As you attempt to head inside Lusamine's private chambers, Faba will appear in order to stop you. He will make mention of how he is now helping Team Rainbow Rocket, feeling they can save even more Pokemon with the leadership of Giovanni. He will then challenge you and Lillie (with the help of another Grunt) to a Multi Battle.
