During your second journey of The Alola Region, you will encounter various Pokemon that often owned by other trainers (sometimes Wild Pokemon) that you will have the ability to pet and play with. When you encounter them, you will have the ability to turn left, turn right, stare at them, play peekaboo, change positions, or wave goodbye. As you play with them, these Pokemon will grow affectionate towards you, often running towards you when you're nearby, following your briefly, or even wanting to play more with you. Unfortunately, there is no reward or value for bonding with these given Pokemon.
