Team Aqua

Team Aqua is one of the two prominent organizations based in Hoenn. Each of them has a boss who leads the group. Serving the boss are two Admins, male and female, and below the Admins are the many Grunts who carry out the day-to-day labors of the team on the ground.

Team Aqua wants to increase the size of the oceans to bring back the Pokémon's lost habitats due to humanity’s greed. Team Aqua strongly believes that the ocean is the font of all life, and by restoring it, they can recreate an ideal home for Pokémon. In order to help them achieve this goal, they're seeking the power of the legendary Pokemon, Kyogre.

Team Magma will play a prominent role in the story in Pokémon Omega Ruby. Team Aqua will seize more power to achieve its goals in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. You will find yourself drawn into the conflict of the two groups, no matter what you do.

Team Magma Leader Archie

Archie is the leader of Team Aqua. A man with an big, unwavering heart and stirring personality that has won him the deep loyalty from his subordinates. But under that facade, he is also relentless - not caring what happens to himself or his team as long as his goals are realized.

Archie wears the Mega Anchor that is set with a mysterious Key Stone. This enables him to Mega Evolve his trusty Pokémon, Sharpedo.

Team Magma Admin Shelly

Shelly is both the beauty and brains of Team Aqua. Her intelligence, her blunt personality, and her dynamism perfectly balances her extreme style and actions, and this have won her many fans within the team.

Team Magma Admin Matt

Matt is the brawn and strength of Team Aqua. With huge, well-built body, he also holds a powerful will. He holds deep loyalty to Archie as he owes a debt to him after he was saved by Team Aqua's leader. He has adopted Archie's ideals as his own, and he is ready to sacrifice himself at any time if it would help to make Team Aqua's vision a reality.
