Pokemon Omega Ruby Cheats and Tips

Pokemon Omega Ruby, released in 2014 is still a relatively young game when you compare it to the game it is based on, Pokemon Ruby which was launched in 2002. Available on 3DS, Pokemon Omega Ruby is a enhanced remake of Ruby with a load of added extras that take advantage of the 3DS console. We have Pokemon Ruby cheats on our site to help you with so many different things in the game such as getting more masterballs, generating any Pokemon, and getting loads more cash!

Pokemon Ruby cheats are entered using either an Action Replay and Nintendo 3DS or using the cheat menu of a 3DS emulator such as Citra. Bear in mind when using Omega Ruby Cheats that there are a few different version around, you'll probably find either version 1.0 or version 1.4 or later, and some codes are designed specifically to work with one version or the others.

Get Both Bikes

You can easily get both he Acro and Mach bike either taking the Mach bike to the Hex Maniac on Route 111 or taking the Acro bike to the Bird Keeper on Route 119. Then you talk witht he athlete on the Battle Resort. After that head to Rydel's Cycles in Mauville City where you should be able to get the bike you don't already have.

Get Cosplay Pikachu

Cosplay Pikachu is a cool addition to the game, and is easily obtained after your first contest. He is special because he ahs the ability to dress up in costumes, and is the only Pikachu in the game that can do this. HM Locations

There are 7 Hidden Machines (HMs) in Omega Ruby and here is exactly where and how to get them.

HM 01 (Cut):

Obtain from a man inside Cutter's House at Rustboro City.

HM 02 (Fly):

Obtain from May or Brendan at Route 119.

HM 03 (Surf):

Obtain from Wally's father using the Balance Badge.

HM 04 (Strength):

Obtain from May or Brendan at Route 112.

HM 05 (Waterfall):

Defeat Gym Leader Wallace at Sootopolis City.

HM 06 (Rock Smash):

Obtain from Wally's uncle at Mauville City.

HM 07 (Dive):

Obtain from Steven at Mossdeep City using the Mind Badge.

How to Get all the Pokeballs

For sure the best ball in the game is the masterball, and if you were cheating, we have a code to get unlimited masterballs, but if you are playing the game with no cheats, or for some reason you can't get a cheat to work, then it may be useful to know where and how to get all of the different types of Pokeballs in the game.

Alakazite can be used to Mega Evolve Alakazam. It can be found/obtained in the Slateport City Market.


Blazikenite

Blazikenite can be used to Mega Evolve Blaziken. It can be found/obtained from Steven on Route 120 if you chose Torchic as your Starter, or on Route 114 from the Stone Salesman if you didn't.


Tyranitarite

Tyranitarite can be used to Mega Evolve Tyranitar. It can be found/obtained in the Jagged Pass.


Pinsirite

Pinsirite can be used to Mega Evolve Pinsir. It can be found/obtained on Route 124.


HM Rock Smash

HM06 (Rock Smash) can be obtained from Wally's Uncle in Mauville City.


Cosplay Pikachu

After you have participated in your first Pokemon Contest in Slateport City, you will be given a special Cosplay Pikachu. This Pikachu will have special stats depending on their contest type. They also have their Hidden Ability.

You can even change it's costume by talking with the attendant near the wardrobe in any Contest Hall.


Super Secret Base Unlockables

Collect the indicated number of flags from Super Secret Bases to reach the listed rank and unlock the corresponding bonuses.

Bronze Rank

Collect 50 flags to reach the Bronze rank where Secret Pals will have a 2nd skill, more items in Fortree's Secret Base Store, and a Blackboard.

Silver Rank.

Collect 100 flags to reach the Silver rank where Secret Pals will have a 3rd skill, more items in Fortress's Decoration Store, and a Jukebox.

Gold Rank.

Collect 500 flags to reach Gold rank where Secret Pals will have a 4th skill. You will also be able to take photos of your Base and get Mood Lighting.

Platinum Rank.

Collect 1,000 flags to reach Platinum rank where Secret Pals can use their skills twice ..

HM02 (Fly) can be obtained from your Rival (May/Brendan) on Route 119.

If Rayquaza knows the move Dragon Ascent, it will Mega Evolve during battle. Dragon Ascent can be taught to any Rayquaza by talking to Zinnia's Grandmother in Meteor Falls after completing the Delta Episode.


Banettite

Banettite can be used to Mega Evolve Banette. It can be found/obtained in Mt. Pyre.


Galladite

Galladite can be used to Mega Evolve Gallade. It can be found/obtained from Professor Cozmo in Fallabor Town after completing the Delta Episode.


Kangaskhanite

Kangaskhanite can be used to Mega Evolve Kangaskhan. It can be found/obtained in Pacifidlog Town.


Shiny Pokemon

Breeding two Pokemon from games of two different languages will increase your chances of getting a Shiny Pokemon to 1 in 1366.


Lucarionite

Lucarionite can be used to Mega Evolve Lucario. It can be found/obtained from Lisia in Lilycove City after defeating all Master Contests and defeating her.


Sablenite

Sablenite can be used to Mega Evolve Sableye. It can be found/obtained in Sootopolis City.


Sceptilite

Sceptilite can be used to Mega Evolve Sceptile. It can be obtained from Steven on Route 120 if you chose Treeko as your Starter, or on Route 114 from the Stone Salesman if you didn't.


Blastoisinite

Blastoisinite can be used to Mega Evolve Blastoise. It can be found/obtained in the SS Tidal.


Slowbronite

Slowbronite can be used to Mega Evolve Slowbro. It can be found/obtained from the man in Shoal Cave after giving him four Shoal Salts and four Shoal Shells.


Aggronite

Aggronite can be used to Mega Evolve Aggron. It can be found/obtained in Rusturf Tunnel.


Altarianite

Altarianite can be used to Mega Evolve Altaria. It can be found/obtained in Lilycove City by showing the collector Altaria.


HM Strength

HM04 (Strength) can be obtained from your Rival (May/Brendan) on Route 112.


Beedrillite

Beedrillite can be used to Mega Evolve Beedrill. It can be found/obtained in the Sea Mauville.


Cameruptite

Cameruptite can be used to Mega Evolve Camerupt. It can be found/obtained in Team Magma's Hideout during the Delta Episode.


Lopunnite

Lopunnite can be used to Mega Evolve Lopunny. It can be found/obtained in Mauville Hills in Mauville City.


Masterball

You can find the Masterball deep inside Team Aqua's Hideout. It is the only one found in-game. It will catch any Pokemon without fail.


Ampharosite

Ampharosite can be used to Mega Evolve Ampharos. It can be found/obtained in New Mauville.


Glalitite

Glalitite can be used to Mega Evolve Glalie. It can be found/obtained in Shoal Cave.


Mawilite

Mawilite can be used to Mega Evolve Mawile. It can be found/obtained in Vendanturf Town.


Poke Balls

Complete the following tasks to obtain the corresponding Poke Ball.

Dive Ball:

Buy for 1,000 from the Fallarbor Town Poke Mart. The Dive Ball is useful for catching underwater Pokemon.

Dusk Ball:

Buy for 1,000 from the Fallarbor Town Poke Mart. The Dusk Ball is useful for catching Pokemon in caves and wild Pokemon between 8:00 pm. And 3:59 am.

Great Ball:

Buy for 600 at Poke Marts after you have earned your first Gym Badge. The Great Ball has a higher catch rate than the standard Poke Ball.

Heal Ball:

Buy for 300 from the Verdanturf Town Poke Mart. The Heal Ball will restore caught Pokemon's HP and fixes ALL status conditions.

Luxury Ball:

Buy for 1,000 from the Verdant..


Devon Scuba Gear

The Devon scuba gear is acquired from Steven's house in Mossdeep City and provides oxygen when you are using Dive.


Abomasite

Abomasite can be used to Mega Evolve Abomasnow. It can be found/obtained in the Berry Garden on Route 123.


Aerodactylite

Aerodactylite can be used to Mega Evolve Aerodactyl. It can be found/obtained in Meteor Falls


Latiosite

Latiosite can be used to Mega Evolve Latios. It can be found/obtained on Latios on Southern Island.


Venusaurite

Venusaurite can be used to Mega Evolve Venusaur. It can be found/obtained on Route 119.


Easy Shiny Pokemon

Increase your chances significantly of catching a Shiny Pokemon from 1 in 8192 by receiving the Shiny Charm as a reward from Professor Birch for capturing ALL 718 Pokemon.


Heracronite

Heracronite can be used to Mega Evolve Heracross. It can be found/obtained on Route 127.


Swampertite

Swampertite can be used to Mega Evolve Swampert. It can be found/obtained from Steven on Route 120 if you chose Mudkip as your Starter, or on Route 114 from the Stone Salesman if you didn't.


Battle Maison Rewards

Complete the following tasks in the Battle Maison to earn the corresponding reward.

Starf Berry:

Win 200 straight battles of any type and speak with a girl in one of the cabins near the Maison.

Lansat Berry:

Win 100 straight battles of any type and speak with a girl in one of the cabins near the Maison.

Monuments:

You get one monument each for earning 50 straight wins in Super Single, Super Double, Super Triple, Super Multi, and Super Rotation Battles.


HM Cut

HM01 (Cut) can be obtained from Mr. Cut in Rustboro City.
