Note: This is a video-heavy section so to avoid lag when loading the videos, we will be dividing this to two separate pages.

After completing Legend Mode once, a Second Gold Skulltula will appear on each scenario stages. However, these will only be available in Hard or Hero mode difficulty and for only specific warriors or weapons. There are specific conditions for each Skulltula so make sure to reach the battle conditions first before starting a scenario to know which warrior and weapon to use.

08: A War of Spirit

Warrior: Zelda

Weapon: Rapier

Condition: Impa, Lana, Darunia, Midna, and Fi escape after Dark Link vanishes.

Continue along the mission until you get the objective to escort your allies to the escape point. You must prioritize rescuing them if ever you get a prompt that they're in danger. To be sure, ensure that all your allies must survive and don't let any of them flee at any part of the mission.

Once the four Dark Links appear, Ganondorf's forces will join the fray. Take out Ganondorf's captains first since they'll rally around Ruto. Once you eliminated most of his forces ,you can take on the Dark Link clones. After defeating at least two of those Dark Links, the “real” Dark Link will appear in the Sorceress' Room. Defeat the Dark Link and then your allies will make their way to the escape point. Clear the path and Keeps to the west to provide safe passage to your allies. Ganondorf will also attack Ruto so keep an eye on her as well. Once all of your other allies escape except for Link and Ruto, the Gold Skulltula will appear in the East Sanctum Keep to the southeast corner of the map.

East Sanctum Gold Skulltula

09: Shining Beacon

Warrior: Lana

Weapon: Spear

Condition: Defeat Volga two or more times and open a gate to the Enemy Base while keeping your allies alive.

Important! You must keep all your allies alive throughout the entire scenario, at least until you spawn the Gold Skulltula!

The enemies will start boosted by the dark energy emanating from the two sanctums. Capture both of them while keeping your allies alive. Once the two sanctums are captured, you have to head to the third and last sanctum to the south and capture it as well.

After the third sanctum, the enemies will be weakened now. Zelda will move to the magic circle at the Fairy Fountain and will require you to activate it. Cia will summon more enemies, including Volga. Don't activate it for now; just continue defeating the enemy captains to help out your troops.

Once Volga appears, you have to save your game since this is the hardest part of spawning the Gold Skulltula in this scenario. He will be accompanied by an Icy Big Poe and a Dinolfos. You can to defeat these two first. Volga is overpowered, even with a high level and good weapon, it will be challenging to defeat him, much more when you're using Lana's weaker weapon. Keep your distance and attack only when needed. Volga will be very aggressive and very powerful; you may be forced to use your potions just to keep yourself alive. You can't stagger him, his attacks will break your guard, and his long and wide reach will prove to be a problem. His HP slowly regenerates as well when he's not damaged so you need to keep landing hits on him. The only time you can get free strikes is when he's breathing fire. When he does this, keep turning to his right side, (your character's left side) land two hits then raise your shield. When he transforms to a dragon, get near him to avoid his powerful fireball then run away a bit when he starts to dive back to the ground with an explosive shockwave. He'll reveal his weakpoint here but you need to be at the right distance in order to reach him in time and smash his weakpoint. When you're about to use your SP attack, make sure that Volga will be caught in the middle of the summoned tree. This will deal higher damage and will help making your job easier. You can save (make sure you're in a safe distance or not in a pinch) every time you deal significant damage so you can slowly whittle down his HP, even if it takes several reloads. You have to defeat once while he's overpowered then wait for him to re-appear. You have to defeat him once again while in this state before activating the magic circle.

The fearsome Dragon Knight

After defeating Volga twice, lure any of the two marked dark forces factions to the magic circle then activate it when prompted. Out of the two, only the Dinolfos to the west will remain stationary until you lure it. Keep it that way and just wait for Volga to re-appear. It's better to do this once Volga has been defeated twice and was lured in the same location. Activating the magic circle will decimate the dark forces and will critically injure Volga. Unfortunately, this won't weaken him and he'll recover a huge portion of his health by using the dark powers. Lure him to Zelda and she will attempt to convince him. This will weaken Volga and now you'll be able to defeat him with ease.

Taming the dragon.

Once Volga's defeated for the third time, head to the northwest. The Gold Skulltula will appear near the outpost and stairs leading to the ruins, north of West Sanctum.

10: Ganondorf's Return

Warrior: Ganondorf

Weapon: N/A

Condition: Capture all keeps, and then defeat the Lizalfos, Aeralfos, and two of the giant bosses.

You can do this in any order but you have to quick, especially when defeating the Lizalfos and Aeralfos. There are seven Aeralfos (four of them are located in the enemy base to the northeast corner) and 8 Lizalfos. To make sure you meet the conditions, don't let the prisoners out until you defeat all targets and captured all bases by yourself. It won't matter if any of your captured bases fall under enemy control again; as long as you captured it yourself, it will count towards the condition. More Lizalfos will reinforce the remaining Aerolfos in the enemy base so make sure to leave the two main Aerolfos and focus on taking out the reinforcements then the main base.

After clearing the main base, Gohma and Manhandla will from the west and south respectively. Gohma will have an Aeralfos ally while Manhandla will have a Lizalfos ally. Make sure to take out these captains first before finishing off the main bosses. Head to the west and engage Gohma first. Make sure it doesn't team up with the other giant boss. After Gohma, this will be counted as the second Giant Boss. Defeat the last Lizalfos and the Gold Skulltula will appear within the southern prison, behind the vines.

11: March of the Demon King

Warrior: Ganondorf

Weapon: N/A

Condition: Defeat all Impas.

To avoid defeating the real Impa accidentally, save your game once she appears in different locations. She'll also be carrying her signature Giant Blade weapon, compared to the Naginatas carried by the fake Impas. If you spot the real one, avoid her and head out to engage the others. After defeating a few fake Impas, the remaining ones will be powered up so be careful when dealing with them. It's better to exploit their weakness by counterattacking after evading their combos.

After defeating the real Impa, the Gold Skulltula will appear on the wall of the path north of the Eastern Room.

Whittling down the phantom Impas

12: Battle of the Triforce

Warrior: Ganondorf

Weapon: N/A

Condition: Defeat Link and Zelda a combined total of four times.

After preventing Impa from activating the Fairy Fountain, Zelda will be forced to leave her castle and make her way towards your main base. To meet the conditions, you have to defeat both Link and Zelda while they're both out in the battlefield. You don't need to lure them both and defeat them together; you just need to defeat them a total of four times (defeat each of them twice) and the Gold Skulltula should appear on the northern wall of the Mountain Keep.

Against the Hero and the Princess

13: Enduring Resolve

Warrior: Zelda

Weapon: Rapier

Condition: Defeat 2,000 enemies while maintaining at least 30% health.

This is one of the easiest late-game Hard Skulltula you can get. Just keep your HP above 30% and kill 2000 enemies to make this spawn. It will be located in the northern prison, under the large boulder.

14: Liberation of the Triforce

Warrior: Darunia

Weapon: N/A

Condition: Defeat Ganondorf before Castle Keep is recaptured while keeping all allies alive.

This is a very challenging task to complete, especially if Darunia isn't leveled up properly or if he doesn't have any good weapons at his disposal. You have to prioritize the survival of your allies so if you hear them asking for help, make sure to go to their aid as soon as possible.

Until you recapture Castle Keep, Ganondorf and his troops will be overly boosted. Frequent lighting strikes will also rain down to your troops once Ganondorf enters the battlefield. As part of the condition to spawn the Gold Skulltula, you have to defeat him without recapturing the Castle Keep. This will make your job harder since you have to keep all your allies alive at the same time. Make sure to save often to slowly and steadily establish your progress. The battle will take longer than it should, especially if Darunia's level and weapon isn't that high. Ganondorf's damage can also eliminate your allies easily so you'll have no choice but to stick close to them and heal them up as necessary.

You'll be relying heavily in your SP Attack so use crowd control attacks against the large mob of enemies to replenish your SP gauge. Make sure to keep an eye on Ganondorf. As long as he's focused on you, your teammates will be moderately safe. Use your SP attack only when Ganondorf and his captains are within range. This will maximize the damage and will help you defeat them quicker. Don't bother using Focus Spirit at this point since Ganondorf can't be staggered while he's powered up. His damage is a really painful as well so use it only if you need to recover you SP gauge but not for fully offensive purposes. Avoid fighting him head to head; instead, be on the defensive and wait for him to reveal his Weak Point Gauge before attacking.

Keep him and his powered up troops isolated in the field outside Hyrule Castle. That way, you'll have the space needed to run around and use flanking manuevers. As the battle drags on, your allies should be near the middle of the map. Prioritize rescuing them, especially if they have captain-level enemies fighting them. The good thing about these captains are they can be easily lured towards you. Just remember to run back to Ganondorf as soon as you rescue your allies. Darunia (NPC), Link, and Impa will be the most vulnerable to him.

After defeating Ganondorf in this annoyingly powerful form, the Gold Skulltula will appear immediately. You'll find it inside the Castle Keep, on the gate to the south.
