This is where you can craft Mixtures or potions using various Materials you collected from enemy/boss drops. Mixtures increase the chances of getting specific weapon types by a certain degree, depending on the type of material used. Fortunately, Mixtures don't require specific materials to create. Materials are categorized by rarity (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) so for example, in order to create a Bronze-grade mixture, you can use any 20 bronze materials. You can manually select which materials to use or have the game decide it for you automatically.

Common Materials are quite abundant after every scenario completion and once you've used some of them in creating badges for your Characters, you'll end up with a large surplus of these materials. That said, it is recommended for players to always create a mixture before starting any scenario to avoid wasting the materials and the chance to get better quality weapons. The mixtures' effects only last in a single battle so players need to concoct a new mixture before starting a new scenario.

You'll start off with the basic mixtures but you'll unlock more of them by defeating Gold Skulltulas and collecting their illustration pieces. You'll unlock new potions after collecting 2, 7, 25, and 50 illustration pieces.
