The adventure map is divided by grids. We will designate the rows with letters where Row A is the bottom and Row H is the top. The columns will have numbers starting from 1 from the left and 16 to the right. The starting position is A-8.

The location of Gold Skulltulas in Adventure Mode is quite predictable; it's either they're located in the middle of the web or they're at an obvious location within the web where you need to use a sub-weapon (like ledges requiring Hookshot to reach)

Also, there are two Gold Skulltulas in some Adventure Mode Scenarios. They can be revealed (save for some that require specific Characters and weapons) by doing the following:

1: Defeat 1,200 enemies and complete the first mission of the scenario. You must find and defeat the Gold Skulltula and defeat it then complete the scenario. Finding the first Gold Skulltula is a requirement before you can unravel the second Skulltula in the same scenario.

2: To unlock the second skulltula in the same scenario, play the scenario again, defeat 1,200 enemies without taking four or more hearts worth of damage.

It is recommended to save often when you're attempting to get the second skulltula. It's always better to start from the savepoint that starting the whole battle over.

As for the C7 I needed to get 1700 KO (with less than 4 hearts damages) or to unlock the boss area to get the second Gold Skulltulas. I did the two at the same time so I don't know which is needed.
