Heart Pieces in Adventure Mode are often awarded as "A" Rank victory reward but you can get some of them by capturing specific Keeps using specific Characters. You'll know what character to use by looking at the portrait in the information on the top of the screen before you start a scenario from the Adventure Map.

The adventure map is divided by grids. We will designate the rows with letters where Row A is the bottom and Row H is the top. The columns will have numbers starting from 1 from the left and 16 to the right. The starting position is A-8.
