Heart Containers in Adventure Mode are often awarded as "A" Rank victory reward but you can get some of them by capturing specific Keeps using specific Characters. You'll know what character to use by looking at the portrait in the information on the top of the screen before you start a scenario from the Adventure Map.

The adventure map is divided by grids. We will designate the rows with letters where Row A is the bottom and Row H is the top. The columns will have numbers starting from 1 from the left and 16 to the right. The starting position is A-8.

Row A

A1	Link	N/A	First, capture the East Temple Hall to get the Fairy of Water. Head to the South Keep next and dispel the water barrier using the fairy. Capture the South Keep to reveal the treasure chest containing this Heart Container.
A2	Zelda	N/A	Capture the Eastern Room
A3	Sheik	N/A	"A" rank victory reward
A4	Ghirahim	N/A	"A" rank victory reward
A5	Midna	N/A	"A" rank victory reward
A7	Sheik	Use bomb on the northern wall, seventh space from the left	"A" rank victory reward
A9	Sheik	There's a set of seven trees in the southwest. Use the candle in the middle of the lower row of trees in that group.	"A" rank victory reward
A10	Zelda	N/A	"A" rank victory reward
A13	Ghirahim	Use bomb on the northern wall, seventh space from the left	"A" rank victory reward
A14	Fi	N/A	Capture Lower Level East
A15	Midna	N/A	You have to capture the South Oasis to get the Fairy of Lightning. Use this to dispel the lightning barrier. Next, capture the South Desert Keep to rescue the Fairy of Fire and use it to remove the fire barrier. Finally, capture the North Oasis to reveal the treasure chest containing this item.

I think that I've gotten all the pieces. No more show, but the screen doesn't say "complete" like the gold skulltula and weapons one.

Check to make sure you have all of them revealed. Won't show the hearts if they're not
