The adventure map is divided by grids. We will designate the rows with letters where Row A is the bottom and Row H is the top. The columns will have numbers starting from 1 from the left and 16 to the right. The starting position is A-8.

The general rule of the grid arrangement so far is that as you progressively go up the rows, the difficulty increases as well. So if ever you're stuck on a grid, try using a different character (unless you're after character-specific Items) or try a different grid. Otherwise, you'll have to train the Characters you need and level them up through normal means or by spending Rupees in the Training Dojo.

For your convenience, the guide will be arranged in order so you can easily find the grid you need assistance with.

You need to defeat 20 Hylian Captains to complete the scenario. To get an A-rank, you have to defeat all of them without sustaining too much damage. There are Beamos installations in the area as well so make sure to get rid of them to prevent surprise damages.

Capture the enemy Keep!

A-Rank Requirements:

Walkthrough:

You need to capture the East Keep, West Keep, East Temple, and Southwest Keep to complete the scenario. To make things easier, capture the East Keep to rescue the Fairy of Water. Shortly into the mission, enemies called Fortifier Captains will appear. These guys will fortify any enemy Keep they run into, making those Keeps very hard to capture. Make sure to intercept them and defeat them before they fortify any Keep.

Once that's done, head towards the West Keep. Break its water barrier using the Fairy of Water then rescue the Fairy of Fire. Proceed with capturing the other marked Keeps. Manhandla Stalks will appear in the map after you capture the second marked Keep. Search for these annoying vines and destroy them.

Finally, find the enemy commander in the Enemy Base Keep and defeat him.

You have to deal with 20 small Imprisoned enemies. They are quite slow and their attacks need some sort of activation time which you can stop by simply attacking them. In short, using fast and wide attacks will enable you to destroy them before they lay their hands on you.

Walkthrough:

You have to deal with two King Dodongos in this battle. If your level is high enough and if you have unlocked more combos for the warrior you're using, you should be able to defeat a King Dodongo is less than 2 minutes each. When facing two of them at the same time, remember to remove the lock-on and lob your bombs to whichever of them charging up for a fireball attack.

A-Rank Requirements:

Walkthrough:

The enemy will be using Bombchus and captains to capture your Keeps. You have to prevent any of your Keeps from falling to prevent enemies from getting a morale boost and make your job harder by having you recapture the keep again. Prioritize taking out the active bombchus. These are marked by arrows in the mini-map.

There's also a friendly Cucco that will appear a few moments after starting the scenario. As long as you keep it safe, it will continue summoning more allied Cuccos that will help you deal with the enemy forces. After taking care of the bombchus and defeating all enemy captains, head to the Enemy Base keep and defeat the commander there.

Walkthrough:

Start the scenario by rescuing the trapped ally on the western side of the battlefield. In order to do this, you have to capture either the West Square or Stone Square keeps so you can access the other side of the battlefield. While doing this mission, a Healer may appear in the field. It will heal its allies that gets close to it so make sure to take it out first.

You have to work fast since after capturing one of the mentioned Keeps, the Central Square or Tunnel Square Keeps will be your next targets. Capture any of them as well to finally reach your ally. Defeat all enemy Captains surrounding your ally to rescue him/her.

This is pretty straightforward. Defeat the enemies quickly to complete the scenario. Though there is no time limit, finishing quickly will secure an A-rank for this scenario. The only catch for this mission is that you'll face Captain-level enemies. First, you have to deal with a ReDead Knight, followed by two Big Poes and finally, two Lizalfos with a ReDead Knight.

In this mission, you have to beat two King Dodongos as fast as you can. Wait for these big fire-breathing lizards to open their mouths then lob some bombs inside. They'll be knocked out cold for a few moments and you're free to smash their weakness gauge. Repeat until they're defeated.

Defeat the Big Poe Forces!

A-Rank Requirements:

Walkthrough:

The objective of this scenario is to rescue your trapped ally in the west side of the field. First, capture the East Temple or West Ruins Keep to access the northern side of the map. After capturing either of them, you now need to break through either Western Room or Eastern Room to reach your allies. Defeat all marked enemy Captains to rescue them.

While doing these objectives, an Item Transporter enemy will appear. Defeating this will allow you to loot its Material or Weapon drop. When these guys appear, make sure to intercept them. Finally, you'll find the enemy commander back at their base. Head there and defeat her.

Walkthrough:

Start by hunting down the three enemy captains marked in the map. Two Cuccos will join the fray and will fight each other. You need to defeat them both since leaving them to their own devices will allow whoever is the victor in the cockfight to take over a Keep and generate its own army to fight yours and your enemies. After taking care of the mess, you'll have to defeat the enemy commander to complete the mission.
