Islander's Almanac Locations

There are five issues of this magazine scattered in the island. Each issue has a bonus perk that will remain in effect as long as you have the DLC installed on the console. Collecting all issues will unlock the "The Islander's Almanac" trophy/achievement.

Issue #1: Pincer Dodge

Effect: Take 5% less damage from Mirelurk melee attacks.

Location: Northwood Ridge Quarry

The quarry has an interior area which is accessible through a door in the pool with the mirelurk eggs, north of the wooden bridge. There are more trappers hiding inside clear the area and loot the containers and corpses. The chamber also has a cooking station, armor workbench, and weapon workbench.

In the second floor, there’s a green trunk and on the small table beside it, you can pick up an issue of Islander’s Almanac. The powered building in the western side of the quarry has a fusion generator with a fusion core and weapons workbench inside.

Issue #2: Precision Hunting

Effect: 5% higher VATS chance against animals

Location: Brooke’s Head Lighthouse

An issue of Islander’s Almanac is found in the highest point of the lighthouse, on the counter beside the cooking stove.

Issue #3: Far Harbor Sightseer's Guide

Effect: Reveals key locations in the map

Location: The Last Plank (pub), Far Harbor

On the table where Old Longfellow is sitting the first time you met him. Almost impossible to miss.

Issue #4: Children of Atom Exposé

Effect: Radiation-based damage reduced by 10%

Location: Acadia

This is found in the second lower floor, on the counter near the armor workbench.

Issue #5: Recipe Roundup

Effect: Unlocks sludge-based recipes in the Chem Station

Location: National Park Visitor's Center

Inside the gift shop, there's an Islander’s Almanac on the counter, ground floor.
