Echo Lake Lumber

This is a potential settlement but you can’t use it until the fog is cleared. You have to complete the quest “Turn Back the Fog” which is part of the main quest “The Changing Tide”. This settlement has a large ground area, and a considerably intact central building where you can conveniently place beds and other settler necessities. The attic provides a good elevated position where you can place your turrets and searchlights.

Avoid scrapping the hedges since these are natural walls protecting the settlement. The Lumber Mill's entrance can also be narrowed down with foundations and guard posts.

The main building's shop itself has several loot/ components. In the second floor of the shop, behind an Advanced locked door, you can eject Levi’s Holotape from the terminal. In the attic, you’ll find a red industrial trunk. (Contains the unique weapon The Harvester) One of the small shops outside has several ammo in the display case.
