SQ42: Legless Spider

You get a radio message about smoke coming from a building - and the need to find out who is causing it...

When you get to the marker there is a wounded runner named Spider who tells you that he has found some important information about the origins of the virus and he wants you to go and collect the objects for him.

The objects are marked on the map - there are three locations that are relatively close together - but on the other side of the city. We decided to start at the location that was the farthest away... YMMV.

When we got to the location it was infested by infected - including a Screamer - so after dealing with them and looting the upper floor, jump down and go in to find the two (2) Shisha Parts.

At the second location you obtain the third Shisha Part - and the objective changes to return to David to give him the parts...

On the way there you will run into a squad of Rais' men - so, well, kill them. All of them - the ones outside AND the ones inside. Then you need to release David and talk to him.

He explains that there is a meteorite and THAT is the source of the virus. Umm, really?

Spider then asks you to get him the 5 meteorite pieces - so head out to do that next.

When you reach the site you fire up the generator - and kill some more infected. You can also pick some plants here as you search for the glowing meteor chunks. The generator is a double-edged sword in that it reveals the meteorite pieces but it also calls infected to you.

The pieces are scattered - one near the pit, while the rest seem to be embedded in the rock, and the last one is under the water.

When you return to David he starts telling you about the reptilians... Um, then the Iluminati and ooohhkkaayyy....
